2026 Beta RR300 Racing 2T - Now in stock here @ John Lee & Sons MotorcyclesRR Race 2 Stroke 300ccIn line with the recent innovations introduced on the XPRO My26 range – widely appreciated by amateurs and experienced users alike – the engine of the new RR Race 250 2Str has been completely redesigned in search for a greater torque and a broader power delivery at all speeds, to be enjoyed in all kinds of enduro tracks. What has changed specifically:Crankshaft and cylinder: now shared with the 300 2Str model. The stroke was reduced compared to the past (from 72 mm to 69.9 mm), and consequently the bore was increased (from 66 mm to 67.4 mm) to maintain 250 cubic centimetres. The cylinder’s transfer port geometry was redesigned and now houses a new dedicated piston.New cylinder head: combustion chamber has been entirely redesigned to create the ideal operating conditions with the new engine geometry, while still using the double spark plug.The double spark plug (both on 250 2Str and 300 2Str) brings numerous benefits:It offers improved distribution of ignition points in the combustion chamber, with a consequent reduction in fuel wastage. This translates into greater carburation stability at all engine speeds, and more precise control of engine loading under all grip conditions.The engine’s range of use is further extended, as both greater torque and more power are available.The two spark plugs are managed with a separated electrical system. This means that, if one of the spark plugs should burn out, the engine will still be able to run, although with less efficiency, allowing the race or off-road session to be completed.With these updates, the torque and linear power delivery were significantly increased, without affecting the overall performances, and also improving the motorcycle’s handling, with centralized weight and lowered centre of gravity. Plus, the crankcase houses larger and stronger main bearings.The gearbox has also been modified, by significantly lengthening the second gear:• Gearbox: this has increased the smoothness when switching from second to third gear, with enhanced riding comfort and vehicle stability during and after the gear change. Purchased my first 2T here, a Beta 200. It was strange, I’d tell friends where I was buying it and they all told me, “oh Chas will look after you.” And look after me he did! I reached out regarding the Beta Xtrainer 300. I am currently researching the market to see what options I have for an enduro/trail bike. I am fairly short so before putting this bike on my shortlist, I wanted to check the seat height in person and see if I could actually reach the ground with one or both feet. They replied straightaway, and they even offered to unbox a brand new bike and put it together for me to check. I went to the shop on Saturday and I must say that they were very helpful. Went to the garage on the back and brought out an Xtrainer for me to check. Also explained what options I have in terms of lowering the bike etc… I didn’t get the name of the young guy that helped me, but if you happen to read this, thank you! I have dealt with other big brand dealers (even “premium” like MV Agusta, Ducati…), and this has been the best experience. Very friendly and approachable. Even knowing that I just wanted to check the bike out and had no intention of buying yet. Also, they seem to be a family run business which for me is a massive plus. I will definitely buy the bike here if I end up going for the Beta. Thank you!
