The largest model in the X-PRO 4T range. The 480 4T is designed for those who refuse to compromise: maximum torque and power, perfect for open terrain and for the most demanding and physically fit riders.

 

Updates to the new 4-stroke models in the X-Pro range are as follows:

New electronic controls: for the first time in Beta’s 4-stroke range, two technologies borrowed from the world of racing – Launch Control (LC) and Quick Shift (QS) – are making their debut. Launch Control, adjustable across 5 levels, allows the X-PRO 4T My27 to burst off at the start, managing torque delivery to maximise traction from the very first metre, eliminating time lost due to stalling or uncontrolled wheelies; a useful feature for the occasional trip to the motocross track. Quick Shift, on the other hand, allows you to engage gears without having to release the throttle, ensuring lightning-fast gear changes with no loss of power, covering more ground in less time. Two solutions that raise the technological level of Beta’s 4-stroke range to new standards, putting controls as refined as those on competition bikes in the rider’s hands, to deliver the best performance in all racing conditions. The control panel, which now houses the new LC and QS buttons, alongside the tried-and-tested two-level adjustable Traction Control (TC) and the map switch (with two engine maps), has consequently been redesigned, whilst retaining its position within the handlebar protection, which also sports a new look.

 

Voltage regulator: with the MY27, the RR X-PRO 4T models benefit from an improved voltage regulator, which guarantees a higher, as well as stable and efficient, voltage to the battery. This update has a positive impact on the entire wiring harness, ensuring a more constant and reliable power supply for all on-board electronic components. 

 

Titanium valves: the update to the new 4-stroke enduro models also includes titanium valves with a revised finish, a solution that further raises the standards of durability and reliability, confirming the constant focus on the development of key engine components.

 

New cam chain tensioner: the chain tensioner now adopts a purely mechanical solution (rather than a hybrid mechanical-hydraulic system with forced oil passages) with a spring of new calibration. These modifications optimise friction and operational smoothness, contributing to smoother running and more effective starts with both a warm and cold engine.
